老派的懷念 (II)

親愛的爸爸,

也許您不認同，但我覺得挺有意思的。我除了上次的回信之外，8月12日大中午我約了二位朋友一起前往台北賓館李前總統追思會鞠躬行禮。其會場安靜有秩序，而且也放著輕輕的千風之歌。雖然無關您，我卻又想起您！還好停留時間不長，才沒讓眼淚流下。

我也主動回信給池上嘉一叔叔。分享照片給他看看。我想在日本，應該沒人會在追思會場拍照吧～特別是上了年紀的日本人，嚴肅拘謹。

今天中午前總統 李登輝先生己化為千風。希望他也能在天上繼續眷顧台灣！

前天（星期三）中午和朋友到台北賓館（台灣日治時期的總督官邸）李先生的追思會場鞠躬。現場安靜有秩序，同時也有＂千風之歌＂的背景音樂。

Dear Uncle Yoshi,

Our former president, Mr. Lee Teng-hui has turned into a thousand winds today noon. Hopefully, he can continue to care for Taiwan in heaven!

I and my friends went to the memorial hall of Mr. Lee at the Taipei Hotel (the residence of the Governor of Taiwan during the Japanese Occupation Period) to bow at Wednesday noon. The scene is quiet and orderly, and there is also the background music of "千の風になって".

而上週三 (8/19)再度收到嘉一叔叔的回信，他說他分享我的照片給他的朋友欣賞，每個月他和朋友都有固定的聚會。聊政治聊生活，談天說地，朋友之中也有敬重李前總統。我認為那是一種民間的交流。剛好我也能做一點事，讓他覺得有談資，也許也覺得可以＂臭屁＂一下，他認識一位台灣朋友的女兒，願意分享照片。

這些小事都是順便分享，一點都不會覺得勉強。我想他為您做了牌位紀念您，還真的不知道該怎麼還他那個人情。若是寄一本書和一些口罩，分享照片等等小事，做這些小事可以讓我心安。至少可以有還禮的感覺。

Dear 徐瑛 san,

I am editing photos of 李登輝総統  you sent me  for showing them to my friends including several persons who have been to Taiwan before.  Thank you for them.

On the  last Friday of every month, we get together and chat about political topics and some others.  Some of those friends have rather good feelings about 李登輝総統閣下 so that I am sure they will feel happy to see the pictures.

Restriction of our going to Taiwan does not seem to be changing even little by little.  So I cheer myself up only by seeing many photos I took when I went to Taiwan.

Restrictions, please disappear soon.
